Woolbeding Countryside - Landscapes of the South Downs - a linear walk
Walk a geological transect from lowland heath, over chalk downland and into old woodland valleys. We start at Lavington Common and finish at Northwood tree planting project. This guided walk explains why we manage habitats in certain ways to encourage wildlife and diversity. Minibus transport is provided back to the start. The walk itself is a leisurely 12 miles.
