Bella Tromba trumpet quartet are an all-female trumpet quartet founded in 2004. Emma Bassett, Victoria Curran, Becca Toft and Jo Harris met as Post-Graduate students at the Royal Academy of Music.
The Society likes to present piano, string and wind groups. However the all-female Bella Tromba quartet is unusual in being four trumpets. They have unearthed forgotten music and commissioned new works. They use C or B flat trumpets mainly, with Piccolo and E flat trumpets for special effects.
