Hilbre Island Walk low tide
The group leaves the slipway at West Kirby at Low tide and walks 2 miles across the sands to Hilbre Island. Hundreds of seals are out on the sand banks of the Dee Estuary at this time of year and can be seen with the help of a telescope. Many more swim around the end of the island where you can get a closer look at them.
