Cambridge Folk Club presents: Stella Hensley and friends, support Phil Riley
Singer/songwriter Stella Hensley has a powerful bluesy voice often compared to Stevie Nicks and Alison Moyet, whose smoky, sultry, velvet quality draws the audience in. Stella began singing professionally at 21, and has worked with Mark Shaw (Then Jericho) and Ricki Wilde, as well as being a session singer. In 2001, she was the opening artist for Uriah Heep at The Shepherds Bush Empire on the Magicians Birthday Party Tour.
