Making Waves: Friends of Newport Ship
In August 2002 during the construction of The Riverfront, the remains of a large 15th century merchant ship were discovered in the muddy banks of the River Usk. As part of the celebrations by Newport Ship of the 15th anniversary of this discovery, the St Woolos Symphonia under their leader, Christoph Mädler, present a concert of sea-going music by various composers.
