Culture and Society in the 1930s

WEA Adult Education Course - The 1930s were a unique period in British history - between two wars and a time of deep recession in the economy. Nevertheless it was also a time of changing attitudes and new cultural creativity. This course will consider these alongside some of the more important movers and shakers of the period.
