WEA Adult Education Course - We will look at conflict before and after the end of the War. The fear of communism, begnnings of Cold War and Stalin's actions at the end of the war will be looked at in the context of West versus East. We will look at what happened to the Empire including India. The conflict around the creation of Israel will be studied. The impact of Britain's changed world status and what it meant for it's citizens forms part of the course.
