Barons, Knights and Peasants: Herefordshire in the Early Middle Ages
WEA Adult Education Course - An exploration, from the perspective of the Southern Marches, of the political, social and economic history Herefordshire during an era of expansion. This will include some consideration of the county's role in the great events of the time; the organisation and development of rural and urban society, social structure and religious life. The course will be illustrated by using local sites, artefacts and documents.
