Tudor York

WEA Adult Education Course - York in Tudor times was a difficult and often dangerous place to be. With its wool industry already in decline, York lost its privileged political position with the death of its patron Richard III. It became a hotbed of civil unrest, conspiracy and rebellion against the Tudor throne.
