Lincolnshire Archaeological Studies

WEA Adult Education Course - The course will explore sites, buildings, artefacts and air images from the county from the Prehistoric to Cold-War periods. Topics will include:- air photography; Lincolnshire prehistory - connections and change; Roman Lincoln and the county beyond; Saxons, Vikings and Normans: settlement, towns and trade; Mediaeval villages, churches and monasteries; war and defence structures; land reclamation.
