Writing about War

WEA Adult Education Course - This course will introduce students to writing about war by Homer, Shakespeare, World War One poets, and by soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, plus a few more. We will read and discuss the attitudes expressed in this writing, comparing texts by combatants and civilians, both pro-war and anti-war in different centuries.
