WEA Adult Education Course - With the publication of Salman Rushdie's 'Midnight's Children' in 1981, a golden era of Anglophone Indian writing was inaugurated and prestigious global book prizes have since been won by several Indian writers including Arundhati Roy, Amit Chaudhuri, Anita Desai and Aravind Adiga.
