Lipreading and Communication Skills - Managing Hearing Loss
WEA Adult Education Course - Manage your hearing loss by improving your communication skills through lipreading and coping strategies. You will learn the shapes made on the lips by different speech sounds and how to use clues from the context of a conversation. You will meet others with varying degrees of hearing loss and will have the chance to discuss experiences and share tips. Lipreading classes help to build confidence and lessen the feelings of isolation that often come with hearing loss.
