The Thorne Trio (woodwind trio)

Ilid Llwyd Jones (oboe), Esther Sheridan (clarinet) and Alexandra Callanan (bassoon) play for the Society's Summer Concert held in the Ribble Valley Borough Council's Civic Suite. Their programme of solo and trio music will be: Handel (arr. Callanan): Arrival of the Queen of Sheba; Mozart: Divertimento No. 4: J S Bach: Cello Suite No. 3; Jacob: Five pieces for solo clarinet; Elgar: Chanson de Matin; Walthew: Triolet in Eflat; Pfeifer: Musette; Milhaud: Suite d'apres Corrette;

The concert starts at 7:30, doors open at 7:00. Around 90 minutes of music with an interval for refreshment. Free admission but the Society asks a donation towards costs. Free parking at the town’s c
