Shoreham Wordfest: 1917 Anthology With Amaryllis Gunn
Actress Amaryllis Gunn has put together a selection of First World War poetry, prose and songs collected from 1915 to 1917. We hear directly from soldiers and those on the Home Front in an evocative and moving performance. As we near the end of the centenary commemorations, Amaryllis brings the poignant voices of those involved in the “war to end all wars”, to set against our own reflections of the historical and contemporary context.
