St Michaels’ Abbey

A gem of French architecture.
St Michael's Abbey was built in the 1880s by the Empress Eugenie as the final resting place of Emperor Napoleon III and their son the Prince Imperial.
By its side is a small Benedictine Monastery where the monks follow the rule of St Benedict.
