Heritage Open Day: Christ Church is a magnificent Victorian Gothic church, designed by Henry Woodyer and consecrated in 1862. Set on a hill to the South of Reading town centre, it commands a prominent position and its spire can be seen for many miles around. On Saturday afternoon there will be fantastic children's activities to take part in, both in the church and in our beautiful, enclosed garden.
