Heritage Open Day: The stories and characters from Shaw House's past are brought to life in our exhibition. This includes items of interest from all periods including a Royal Grant dates 1557, notebooks from the 1570s and the archaeological finds from the restoration.
During your visit you can see the most significant historical rooms of the house. They are unfurnished as nothing remained after Shaw House ceased to be a family home but as one of the most significant historical properties
