Heritage Open Day: Come and relax or explore our wonderful garden oasis most recently, or view some of the rooms within the house dating back to 1688 and still being used today. The oldest part of the house dates back to 1500 which can also be view, along with the old classrooms when this was once Kendrick School. See the original date stamps and initials from the very person where the house is named from on the stack pipes and come and look at the photo of Captain Purvis and decide for yourself
