Knutsford 'Regina v Turing and Murray' Quarter Sessions records

Heritage Open Day: In 1952, at the Sessions House in Knutsford (now The Courthouse Hotel), Turing was prosecuted for homosexual acts in the trial Regina v Turing and Murray. He accepted chemical castration treatment as an alternative to prison. This is a unique opportunity to view the record of the trial, in the town where it took place.
