Knutsford Tabley Hill Cemetery Chapel
Heritage Open Day: Described by Pevsner as 'an inventive and original design' the Tabley Cemetery Chapel is a beautiful and unusual eight-sided roofed chapel.
Built in 1901, it has a tower at the east which forms the entrance porch.Mary Royce, mother of Sir Henry Royce (who was living in Knutsford at the time of his famous first meeting with Charles Rolls at The Midland Hotel in Manchester) is buried here.
Not normally open to the public this is a rare opportunity to view the Grade
