Miniature Railway Open Weekend
Heritage Open Day: Open weekend at the Halton Miniature Railway. On this weekend, our original 1973 built locomotive ‘PIXIE’ will haul selected trains through the day. In addition, we hope to have our first Society-owned locomotive ‘NORTON PRIORY SCHOOL’ back in operation. This locomotive was built by pupils at the school in 1980, especially for the railway. Out of use for several years, it is currently undergoing restoration and will be returned to service this weekend.
