St Mary Magdalene Church
Heritage Open Day: St Mary Magdalene Church, built by Henry Trecarrell of Lezant, is the most impressive and beautiful late medieval church in Cornwall and features superb carved detail on the exterior with a wealth of historic memorials and woodwork inside. Work commenced in 1511 and the new church was re-dedicated in 1524.
The outside of the church has hardly changed since that time, although the interior has undergone two restorations.
