St Edmund's Church, Sedgefield

Heritage Open Day: Built between 1246 and 1400; a rare dedication to St Edmund of Abingdon. Features include a very elaborate 17th century screen and paneling. Font of Italian marble. Chancel with Frosterley marble floor, Brasses and stone features. Recently installed interpretation boards and full history church booklet. Volunteers will be on hand to talk to visitors about the history of the building. A new church children's booklet will be available with games and special features. Lo
