Heritage Open Day: The Small Island with a Big History’ is an exhibition and talk about Walney’s history and lighthouse.
The Islands' miles of unspoilt coast, abundant wildlife, and rich history have drawn people to their shores for centuries. Mr Harker will give a talk on the Islands' lighthouse and the myths and legends it holds. The talk will be at 10.30 on Wednesday 6th September. Booking for this is essential.
