Bolsover Parish Church Heritage Open Day
Heritage Open Day: Bolsover Parish Church will be open as part of the Heritage Open Days with light refreshments being served all day. The church has a rich wealth of history and heritage including Norman Tower, and Medieval and Saxon artifacts. The church also houses the magnificent marble monument to Sir Charles Cavendish, son of the famous Bess of Hardwick, and purchaser and re-builder of Bolsover Castle from 1608. Charles died in 1617 leaving his son, William, to continue work on the castle
