Life and times of the Angel Inn, Belper Market Place
Heritage Open Day: A small exhibition of press cuttings, research, documents and photographs relating to the history of the Angel Inn will be displayed at the No28 Farmers Market Café.
The inn was believed to be one of the oldest inns in the town and occupied the site of the current building (built as a Salvation Army Hall, now No28 Community Hall) until it was demolished in the early 20th century following all sorts of goings on!
