Emmanuel Church
Heritage Open Day: Emmanuel Church is a Grade 2 Listed Victorian church designed by architect W H Gould of Ilfracombe. In regular use as a combined Methodist and United Reformed Church, it was built in 1898 to replace the old Wesleyan Chapel which stood on Ropery Meadow. The church is built in the Gothic Revival style and has many interesting features including a large traceried window and pillars of Aberdeen granite.
We will have information boards and a children’s quiz sheet.
