St Clement's Church - Powderham
Heritage Open Day: Built in 1259, St Clement has been the family church for the Earls of Devon for 758 years. It is a beautiful ancient building, and is usually open only for Sunday service so this is a great chance to look around. Church services at Powderham follow the traditional Book of Common Prayer. Over the weekend there will be musical interludes and a free talk on the history of the church. Cream teas will be served from 11- 5pm on Saturday and from 1 – 5pm on Sunday.
