St Peter & St Paul (Grade 1 Listed) was rebuilt following the Great Fire of London (1731) and reopened in 1739. One of the most important Georgian churches outside London, it was placed on the Historic England ‘At Risk’ register in 2012. At this time the Cupola Project was launched: a £3.5 million restoration, regeneration and re-ordering 7-10 year phased project. In 2016 stage
