Wareham Walls Walk
Heritage Open Day: Wareham’s Saxon Walls are the best remaining example within the UK. The enjoyment of an hour long stroll along the walls around the town is now made even more informative with the addition of seven interpretation boards. Each board tells the story of the historical events that took place on each of the seven locations, and there is also a Wareham Walls Walk booklet, priced at just £2, available from Discover Purbeck within Wareham Library.
