Edwardian Stencilling at St Peter’s Church, Preston Park
Heritage Open Day: Listen to a 90 minute talk on the conservation of the Edwardian stencilling in our chancel.
Prior to the talk, why not look around the church. This simple 13th century flint church makes a pleasing medieval contrast with its suburban surroundings. It is notable for the substantial area of 14th century wall paintings and is in the care of The Churches Conservation Trust.
