Fitzroy House

Heritage Open Day: Fitzroy House is a landmark Victorian Gothic building of 1862 by Sir George Gilbert Scott, for many years the town library. Rescued from demolition in the 1970s, it is now again being refurbished. Access to the spacious central atrium with displays of historical material about the building, with views of the first floor galleries.
