Motcombe Dovecote: Hear stories of Rats, Ruins and the Regeneration of this Historic Building
Heritage Open Day: This year's Heritage Open Days gives Eastbourne visitors a chance to see inside the usually closed Motcombe Dovecote and discover the story of Rats, Ruins and Regeneration of this historic building.
The Dovecote in Motcombe Gardens is a Grade II listed building but the original listing is
rather vague: “Round tower dovecote of knapped flint. Red conical tile roof. Buttress, 3 steps and plain wooden door to barn.”
