St Michael's Church, Lewes

Heritage Open Day: The parish church of St. Michael-in-Lewes is distinguished by its 13th century round tower and slender shingled spire. This is one of only three round towers in Sussex. Other parts of the church date from the 14th, 18th and 19th centuries. The south wall, along the High Street, is a fine example of knapped and squared flintwork.
