Heritage Open Day: The Court Hall is a medieval building housing the Town Museum on its upper floor. In the Museum the 'Winchelsea Story' is retold starting with the Old Port of Winchelsea (destroyed by storms in 13th Century) and the founding of the new built Town in 1288 by King Edward I.
