Parndon Hall

Heritage Open Day: In the midst of Harlow New Town, at the back of the site of Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, stands Parndon Hall. The house was built in 1867 for Loftus Arkwright, the great grandson of Richard Arkwight of Derbyshire, who was a cotton industry entrepreneur involved at the very beginning of the Industrial Revolution.
