Cheltenham Masonic Hall
Heritage Open Day: 2017 marks the tercentenary of the formation of the first Grand Lodge of England, and the bicentenary of the arrival of Freemasonry in Cheltenham. The Masonic Hall is the third oldest purpose built hall in England and Wales. The interior has changed little since it was built in 1820 by George Underwood, in a combined Roman Mausoleum and Egyptian style.
