Forest of Dean Geo Map
Heritage Open Day: Unique geological map of the Forest of Dean created from the stones that underlay the soil. It uses 15 different rocks from working and disused local quarries. Quarries, iron & coal mines are marked on it highlighting both industrial history and geology. This project won a prestigious ENI Geological Challenge Award in 2008.
