Oldwood Pits Coal Mine Open Day

Heritage Open Day: Coal mine and associated workings, mine office, mining artefacts and displays. Also pit shaft and drift mine entrance (both of these as part of guided tour only). There is nothing accessible underground, due to flooding as a result of local underground water level.

Sat 9 Sep:1400-1700 (tours every half hour). Sun 10 Sep:1100-1530 (tours every half hour). Free Entry.
