Sandford Parks Lido
Heritage Open Day: Built in 1935, the lido is a great day out in the heart of Cheltenham, on the edge of the Cotswolds. It is a children's paradise with slides, a children's pool and a paddling pool. The 50m pool is also an ideal place to train, two lanes are reserved most days.
Nationally recognised as the most complete example of a 1930s lido, Sandford Parks Lido retains most of its features including the impressive fountain and the original operational plant room engineering.
