Stroud Congregational Church
Heritage Open Day: Stroud Congregational Church is a grade 11* listed building built in 1837 and is celebrating it’s 180th year in the centre of the town and has been described as: ‘an elegant structure’.
Its ground floor consists of large hall, kitchen and toilets with the interior of the Chapel situated above is fitted with oak galleries all round and is approached from the street by a handsome winding staircase within the tower, modelled on the Tower of Winds of ancient Athens.
