Ashton Parish Church St Michael and All Angels

Heritage Open Day: Grade I Listed Building. Most complete set of 15th Century stained glass in north west of England depicting the story of St. Helen(a). Ceiling bosses relating to 15th century monarchs, a three decker pulpit and unusual layout of box pews. Weather permitting, climb the 161 steps to the top of the tower to see views of the Pennines and Cheshire Plain.
