Hyde Chapel, Gee Cross

Heritage Open Day: The original chapel became the first place of Christian worship in Hyde in 1708. The present chapel was built in 1846; a Grade II listed building, it has stained glass windows and a hammer beam roof. See the organ with restored organ case and pipes and view the church records and memorabilia on display. There are several War Groves and the Potter family grave is in the Chapel grave yard.
