Alverstoke Quilters Quilt Show
Heritage Open Day: Quilt making is a tradition that dates back to at least the 12th Century and was usually a parlour activity for wealthy ladies. Our Alverstoke Quilters have no airs and graces but have kept the skill alive and vibrant in the Village since a small group first met around a kitchen table back in 1992. They swiftly outgrew that table and now a friendly bunch of like-minded people meet weekly in the Parish Centre to indulge in their passion for textile and stitch.
