St Albans Cathedral Tower Tours
Heritage Open Day: This spectacular Tower Tour takes you up 193 steps, winding through narrow, medieval staircases and passageways to the roof of the Norman Tower. On the way there are stunning views of the Cathedral interior, including the great rose window, and a visit to the ringing chamber. Higher up the Tower, you also get to see the Cathedral bells before heading out onto the roof to enjoy extensive views of the city in all directions.
