Heritage Open Day: The chapel is in a spectacular setting with panoramic views over Bury, Rochdale and the Pennines. The building is Grade II listed, built in 1846 and the architect was George Shaw of Uppermill.
Of special interest are the stained glass windows by Thomas Willement 'Father of Victorian Glass' and Robert Thompson 'Mouseman' furniture.
