Heritage Open Day: Thatched timber box framed cottages dating from the 1680s, housing a local history museum of Hinckley and the surrounding area. See the framework knitter`s room setting with c.1740 stocking frame, and displays including Three Brewers (Bass, Butler, Worthington); What did the Romans do for us? with a model of a Roman chariot and locally found artefacts: Richard III and the battle of Bosworth; Hinckley`s Dambuster hero; and WWI - 1917.
