Woolsthorpe Manor

Heritage Open Day: Did you know that Isaac Newton was a Lincolnshire farmer's son? Born at Woolsthorpe in 1642, he did some of his most exciting science here in a 'year of wonders' from 1665-6. Come to Woolsthorpe and see the room where he was born, the apple tree which inspired his thinking on gravity, and discover things you didn't know you didn't know in our Science Centre. Extra science activities led by our volunteers across the site just for today.
Sat 9 Sep:1100-1700 - last admission 1630. Free Entry.
