Mersey Tunnel Tours - Georges Dock Building Open Weekend
Heritage Open Day: Georges Dock Building will open it's doors for the weekend to let visitors see behind it's Art Deco exterior. There will be artefacts on display and a small photographic exhibition as well as free mini tours to the original Control Room and down through a Fan Chamber underneath the building to see the Queensway Tunnel. Tours will be held throughout the day on a 1st come 1st served basis with a maximum of 24 allowed on the tour down to the tunnel.
